Compost Tea

You won’t want to drink this “tea”, but your garden vegetables, fruits and herbs will love it!

Compost “tea” is not really a tea at all, but rather a liquid fertilizer for vegetables, fruits and flowers. The name comes from the concept of “steeping” composted material in water to extract the nutrients; the nourishing solution can be sprayed anywhere in the garden to stimulate healthy growth and help prevent disease.

If you already have thoroughly decomposed plant material (including spent tea leaves!), here’s how you can start brewing your Compost Tea right away.
