We know that tea is good for the body (and soul), but did you ever stop to think your beloved Fido or Mittens would benefit from it as well? The antioxidants found in tea may help to reduce cancer cell formation in the body. And since tea is regarded as a ‘food’, it’s considered safe for animal consumption. Beware of the caffeine levels in some teas, however. Tea supplements may be a better option than actual liquid tea for this reason. If this sounds like something you’d want to try, be sure to consult with your veterinarian first.
