Kids’ Tea May Be the New Standard

Growing up, juice was always laden with high fructose corn syrup and other sugars. In recent years, though, many juice brands started advertising only natural fruit sugars included, with nothing extra. These 100% juices became what many mothers across the country started reaching for on the grocery store shelves. Today, however, the natural sugars in juices are still too high for kids’ optimal health. Our diet includes more sugar than our bodies know what to do with, so cutting out excess sources of the sweet stuff has become the thing to do.

One company has come up with a solution – herbal tea mixed with 100% juice. It still gives the children the fruit flavors they love, but with the healthy aspects of tea and lower levels of sugar. Many kids today are even drinking herbal teas with their families on a regular basis, so incorporating it into their juice beverage is no stretch at all. So let them have juice…with their tea!
