Make Your Own Fairy Water

If your New Year’s resolutions include a pledge to nourish your body and spirit, there’s no better or easier way to enhance your well-being than with a refreshing glass of water. Every cell in our bodies requires water to function properly, and every organ depends on it. Still, the thought of eight glasses a day can seem like a chore if you don’t apply a little imagination to the regime.

Inspired by Padma Lakshmi’s signature concoction, we’ve devised our own version of Fairy Water. Our infusion is an elegant mélange of flavors that elevates your water into a healthful elixir that can be prepared in an icy water pitcher and enjoyed throughout the day.

Ingredients:Fairy by Sofi

  • Edible dried rose petals
  • Lemon and/or lime  slices
  • Dried jasmine flowers
  • Rosemary
  • Cucumber
  • 3 cups quality ice water
  • 3 cups brewed green tea

Directions:

  1. Brew 3 cups of green tea and add to 3 cups ice water in a large pitcher.
  2. Add your favorite healthful ingredients such as lemons, limes, and cucumber slices.
  3. Sprinkle in edible flowers and herbs to taste.
  4. Mix together, refrigerate and enjoy throughout the day.
